- Peel and halve the onions and cut into thin slices. Finely chop the garlic.
- Mix flour with baking powder and paprika powder. Mix with the egg and enough water to make a thick paste. Mix in the onions and garlic.
- Pour plenty of oil into the pan, about 2 cm high. Put one tablespoon each (maximum 2) of the mixture in the pan and fry until golden on both sides.
- Place on kitchen paper and then serve warm with any sauce.
