- Preheat the oven (fan oven 180 degrees).
- Prepare the puff pastry according to the package instructions and spread or roll out on a baking sheet and leave to rest.
- Dice onions and sauté in butter and a little salt until translucent, add diced ham and cook for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, whisk the yoghurt and eggs in a large bowl, season well with salt, pepper and paprika, season with a little nutmeg and caraway seeds.
- Fold in the cooled onions and stir in the grated cheese.
- Pour the mixture onto the puff pastry and distribute it.
- Bake in the oven for about 20-30 minutes. In the meantime, prick with a fork.
- Let cool down a little and serve - preferably with a fresh white wine.
- Instead of onions, carrots and leeks also taste very good, eggplant and zucchini would be a Mediterranean variant.
