Cut the onion into slices 7-8 mm thick.
Disassemble into rings and put in cold water (1.5 l).
Add salt, pepper, baking powder to 125 g of flour and mix.
Add beer, 2 tbsp water and mix well until smooth.
Remove the onions from the water onto a paper towel.
Roll each ring in flour, then in batter, and put in well-heated vegetable oil.
Fry the onion rings until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes over high heat.
Remove the finished rings from the oil and place them on a paper towel to remove excess fat.
