Preheat the oven to 230 degrees top-bottom heat. Mix the tomato paste with a little cream in the baking dish. Add the rest of the cream and season generously. Add the chopped onion pieces, raw pasta and ham. Add the water so that the pasta is just covered and mix well. Scatter the cheese on top. Put the casserole in the oven and bake for about 35 minutes.
Note: There are many recipes for a pasta and ham casserole. But since these are all too complicated for me, here is my optimized casserole. The special thing is the good taste and very easy and quick preparation. At the end, all you have to do is wash a casserole dish, you can easily buy the ingredients to match and in advance and you don`t need a vegetable broth with many additives. Coming home from work, quickly turning on the oven, 10 minutes of work, setting the timer and a short time later enjoying the finished meal.
