Grease a cake pan (Gugelhupf, wreath, box, etc.) and put in the fridge. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C top / bottom heat.
Beat eggs and sugar until thick and creamy. Then stir in the oil, juice and orange peel. Mix flour with baking powder and stir in quickly. Pour into the mold and bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes.
Let cool in the tin for about 15 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.
You can cover it with the pouring while it is still warm if you want it to soak in - otherwise you should let it cool down beforehand.
If you like, you can of course also use a different pour (e.g. frosting).
