Wash the orange with hot water, dry it and sprinkle with the cloves. Pour rock candy into a glass (approx. 1 liter capacity). Add the orange and star anise and pour on the wheat grain. Seal the jar.
Let the orange liqueur mature in a warm place for about three weeks. The rock candy dissolves during this time. After the maturation period, pour the liqueur into a prepared bottle
Tip: Instead of orange, you can make the fine liqueur with two untreated lemons. Wheat grain can be exchanged for vodka, tequila or grappa, just as you like. The only thing to note is that the alcohol content increases depending on the type of alcohol.
