Wash the rice and drain well. Heat the butter in a saucepan, roast the rice in it for 4 minutes while stirring, pour in water and season with salt.
Peel the orange (also remove the white skin), cut into 3 cm pieces, add to the rice with the almonds and let everything swell for about 20 minutes over low heat. If necessary, add some hot water.
Add the raisins, sugar and saffron shortly before the end of the cooking time and serve hot.
