Instructions

  1. Cut the red cabbage into fine strips. Caramelize the sugar in a large saucepan, add the butter and let it melt. Add red cabbage and sauté in it, season with lemon juice, orange juice, salt and pepper. Add the bay leaves and onion peppered with cloves.
  2. Let cook for 1.5 hours.
  3. Remove onion and bay leaves before serving, season to taste.
