Instructions

  1. Cook a chocolate pudding with milk and sugar and melt the chopped chocolate in it. Place cling film directly on the surface of the hot pudding to prevent skin from forming. Let cool down, preferably overnight in the refrigerator.
  2. Drain the cherries, collecting the juice. Mix the cornstarch with a little juice or cold water until smooth, heat the remaining juice in a saucepan. Stir in the cornstarch and bring to the boil. Add the cherries and pour the compote into a bowl or individual glasses and leave to cool.
  3. Finely grind 14 biscuits with filling, 6 save for decoration.
  4. Stir the quark into the pudding, whip the whipped cream with the cream stiffener and vanilla sugar until stiff and put some of it aside to decorate, fold the rest into the cream. Now alternate with the biscuit crumbs in two layers on top of the compote. Decorate with cream tuffs and the rest of the biscuits.
