Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut into pieces of the same size. Chop the herbs, chop or press the garlic and place in a baking dish together with the potatoes. Season with salt, pepper, nutmeg and chilli. Drizzle with a little oil.
  2. Mix everything well and put in the oven at 200 ° C. The time in the oven depends on the size of the potato pieces, approx. 45 - 60 minutes.Stir every now and then so that the pieces do not get too dry on top.
  3. Which herbs you take depends on what you currently have and what you like. I like to take an Italian herb mix (TK). You can`t actually take enough herbs.
  4. If you like, you can also season with paprika and adjust the amount of garlic and chilli to your own preferences, depending on whether you like it or not. Roasted onions also go well with it.
  5. I sometimes have the potatoes as a side dish or as a main course with herb quark and a salad. The quantities are of course dependent on whether it is just a side dish or a main course.
  6. You can also combine the root vegetables with the potatoes, simply cut them into pieces (same size as the potatoes) and mix.
