Instructions

  1. For 15 pieces.
  2. First you stir the margarine or butter in a mixing bowl until frothy. Then you add the sugar and stir everything until foamy. Now mix in the eggs and keep beating until you have a creamy mixture.
  3. Mix the flour with the baking powder, salt and cocoa powder and fold into the mixture alternately with the milk. Finally stir in the chocolate sprinkles. Place paper muffin cases in the hollows of the muffin tray and fill in the chocolate batter.
  4. Preheat the oven to approx. 180 ° C (top / bottom heat, hot air: approx. 160 ° C) and bake the muffins in it for about 20-25 minutes. Let the muffins cool and then remove them from the muffin tin.
  5. During the baking time you divide the biscuits with a knife in the middle. Tip: It is easier if you put the knife in hot water beforehand. Then you press a brown chocolate lens in the middle as a pupil.
  6. When the muffins have cooled down, you brush them with chocolate icing and press the biscuit eyes on them. For the owl`s nose, make a vertical slit in the muffin and press an orange chocolate lentil into it.
