- Mix the flour with the baking soda in a large bowl. Add buttermilk, apple syrup, egg and oil or butter and mix well for at least 2 minutes.
- Heat a pan with a little oil. Put the batter into the pan with a tablespoon and gently fry the pancakes on both sides.
- Caution: The pan must not be too hot.
- Serve with a little apple syrup and optionally with fresh fruit and a dollop of yoghurt.
