Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C (convection 180 ° C, gas mark 4). Peel the parsley roots and potatoes, rinse and cut into thin slices or grate into strips. Cut the onions into fine cubes, sauté in hot oil. Add parsley roots, potatoes, cream and milk and cook everything in an open pot over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. In the meantime, grate the cheese. Cut the ham into cubes and mix with the vegetables. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Peel and halve the garlic.
  3. Rub and grease an ovenproof dish with the clove of garlic. Fill the vegetable mixture into the mold and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the oven for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. A green salad goes well with it.
  4. Alternatively, you can use parsnips instead of the parsley root.
