Put the salted water on for the pasta. In the meantime, finely chop the shallot and garlic. Put the pasta in the boiling water and cook according to the instructions on the packet.
Melt the butter in a pan. Then lightly sweat the shallots and garlic pieces. Put the tomatoes in the pan. Stir and simmer gently over medium heat. Add the cream cheese and let it melt.
Then season the sauce with salt, pepper, oregano (sometimes I also use dried basil). When the noodles are cooked, drain them and add them to the pan. Mix with the sauce and serve. Garnish with parmesan if needed.
Tip: Just try different types of cream cheese. Tastes different every time, but super delicious.
