Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the instructions on the packet.
  2. Dice the sausage and peppers and cut the onion into strips. If you can`t get the sausage in one piece, slices will of course also work (I think the cubes fit better).
  3. Fry the sausage with the onions in a large pan until the onions turn lightly brown. Add the tomato paste, squeeze the garlic and season with pizza seasoning, salt and pepper. Be careful not to overdo it, the sausage is already very salty. Add the peppers and mushrooms. Mix well and fry the tomato paste briefly. Stir in the processed cheese and canned tomatoes until you have a nice sauce. Achieve the desired consistency with a little pasta water. Now just season to taste and mix with the cooked pasta.
  4. Tips: I then added a few herbs, after all, the eyes eat with them.
  5. If you like, you can then put the mixture in a baking dish and bake it with cheese.
  6. And if you don`t like special pizza, you can simply use a few other ingredients from your favorite pizza, e.g., broccoli or tuna.
  7. When Dr. Oetker makes pizza with pasta, then it will definitely go in the other direction: my goal was a pasta that tastes like pizza. First of all, I simply opted for Pizza Speciale.
