Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente and drain. Dab the tomatoes with kitchen paper (because the oil is neither particularly good nor particularly tasty) and cut into pieces. Clean and wash the rocket, cut in half if necessary.
  2. Cut the mozzarella into slices and cut out small circles with the apple cutter (the children are happy to help and quickly put the leftovers in their mouths or feed them to the cats). You can of course also take mozzarella minis. Mix the pasta, tomatoes, mozzarella and olives together.
  3. Mix plenty of olive oil, a little balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper in a bowl. Pour over the salad and mix everything well.
  4. Only mix in the rocket at the very last minute. If you take the salad with you for a picnic or a buffet, take the rocket separately and only mix it in at the last moment.
  5. Put away immediately and never season to taste and do not let the children taste it either. Otherwise there is a risk that everything will be eaten before the guests arrive or before the meal has started.
  6. Once I mixed pickled red peppers in this salad, it was also very tasty.
