Leave the ham in a saucepan in a little butter. Then deglaze with the broth and add the broccoli florets. Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes, until the broccoli has boiled over. Add the cheese and cream and stir in well. Season to taste with the herbs and spices. Finally, stir the cornstarch in a beaker with approx. 150 ml of water, add to the boiling sauce and briefly bring to the boil.
Cook the pasta as desired. The sauce is enough for 500 g of pasta or more.
