Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet. Cut the bacon and onions into small cubes. Fry the bacon cubes in the oil with the rind if desired, or leave them out. Add the onion cubes to the bacon and fry briefly.
  2. After the pasta has cooked, drain the water and place the pasta in a saucepan. Add the bacon and onions to the pasta together with the fat from the frying, stir and season with salt and pepper. On the plate, the pasta is served with Parmesan and a good shot of Maggi, if you like it.
  3. We eat a leafy salad with it, but cucumber or tomato salad also go well. All children around us love this simple and inexpensive dish.
