Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water according to the instructions on the packet.
Peel the onions and cut into wedges. Prepare the vegetables, remove the seeds and dice the tomatoes if necessary. Rinse and dab the chives and cut into rolls. Drain the pasta and drain well.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onion wedges until translucent. Add the peppers and fry for approx. 3 minutes. Add tomatoes and fry for another 2 minutes. Stir in pasta, cream cheese and chives and season to taste with salt and pepper.
