Steam fresh beans in a sieve insert for about 8 minutes. Thaw frozen food. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Cut the peppers into small cubes and finely chop the onion.
While the pasta is cooking, fry the onion and crushed garlic clove in olive oil. Then add tomatoes and peppers, possibly a dash of water. Simmer briefly while stirring, then season with salt, pepper, chilli and herbs. Just before the noodles are ready, add the beans.
Pour the vegetable sauce over the pasta and serve the dish sprinkled with parmesan.
