Put the pasta in a saucepan to cook. While the noodles are cooking, start making the sauce.
Dice the onion as finely as possible and fry it with olive oil in a pan with a high rim. Then you peel the tomatoes and also dice them. Add the tomato cubes to the glassy onions in the pan. Then you put the cream in the pan and let everything simmer briefly.
Chop the basil and thyme. If you have other herbs, you can use them too. After the sauce has boiled once, add oregano, thyme, basil, plenty of pepper and a good pinch of salt to the sauce.
When the noodles are firm to the bite, pour off the pasta water and add the noodles to the sauce. After a minute, the pasta has soaked up the sauce and you can serve everything.
It is best to have salt ready, because the cream sauce soaks up all of the salt and you have to add extra salt.
