Instructions

  1. Bring the water to the boil in a large saucepan, add a little salt and cook the spaghetti in the gently bubbling water until al dente.
  2. In a second saucepan or deep pan, heat the cream with the chicken stock, add the grated lemon zest and lemon juice. Simmer for about five minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  3. Drain the spaghetti and mix with the sauce and basil. Crumble the feta cheese and mix it with the pasta. Season to taste with freshly ground pepper.
  4. Tip: If that`s too vegetarian for you, you can sear two chicken breasts with a little olive oil and lemon juice, season with salt and pepper and serve with the pasta cut into strips.
  5. It goes well with garlic baguette, green salad, and good white wine.
