Instructions

  1. For the batter, simply stir the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and eggs with the mixer until frothy. Then mix the flour and baking powder and add alternately with the milk until a creamy batter is formed. Put the mixture on a greased baking sheet.
  2. Wash the fruits, dry (!) And remove the stones. Then stand tightly upright on the dough.
  3. Then make the crumble: Cut the cold butter into small pieces and fill a bowl with flour, sugar, salt and cinnamon. Then grind the contents with your fingertips and squeeze gently until you get medium-sized sprinkles. Do not work too long, otherwise the butter will be too soft and sticky!
  4. Crumble on top of the plum cake and bake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees top / bottom heat for around 45 minutes. Baking makes even unripe fruit sweet.
