Wash and clean / peel vegetables and potatoes, cut into large cubes. Briefly fry the vegetables and peas in oil in a large saucepan. Then add enough water and broth to cover everything well. Add sugar, salt, marjoram and cover and simmer for 1 hour! Every now and then check that nothing has settled on the bottom of the pot, if necessary add a little more water.
Now pound everything well with the pounder and season to taste again.
Finally add the wieners or other sausages and cover again and let simmer briefly over a low heat!
