- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- Peel the pears, quarter them, cut into thin slices and drizzle with the lemon juice.
- Beat the eggs with the sugar until frothy, stir in the flour, milk, lemon zest and ginger. Fold in the pear slices.
- Grease a flat baking dish well with butter. Add half of the walnuts, sprinkle the batter on top and the rest of the walnuts as the top layer.
- Bake in the middle of the oven for about 35 minutes.
- Serve the casserole sprinkled with powdered sugar. If you like, you can also mix the powdered sugar with cinnamon.
