Ingredients
- 400 g pear (s), peeled, pitted, diced
- 100 g apples, peeled, pitted, diced
- 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
- 50 g onion (s), finely diced
- 50 g raisins
- 150 g suar, brown
- 1 orange (s), which juice and zest
- 0.5 teaspoon ½ cinnamon
- 20 g iner, fresh, or 1 teaspoon round
- 1 chilli pepper (s), approx., Cut into rings or cubes, with or without seeds
- 0.5 teaspoon ½ nutmeg
- 180 ml vinegar, (white wine vinegar)
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for about 1-1.5 hours without a lid, stirring often until it has boiled down like a jam.
- Pour hot twist-off glasses.
- Tastes very good with roasts, game, pies, cheese, etc.
- Like jams, it lasts for a long time, but it never got that old for us.
- Sufficient for approx. Three 250 ml glasses.
