Instructions

  1. Juice about 5 kg of ripe pears. Measure out 3 liters of juice. Bring to the boil with 400 g sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon stick and sliced vanilla pod and allow to cool. Remove the cinnamon stick and vanilla pod.
  2. Add lime juice and Doppelkorn, stir, pour through a fine sieve and fill into bottles.
  3. Makes 7 bottles of 0.7 liters each.
  4. The liqueur is ready to drink straight away, but gains in taste over time.
