These peppers, cooked in sweet and sour sauce, can be a light side dish or, with the addition of other ingredients, serve as an excellent low-calorie snack! Lent can be an independent dish, and the rest of the days are fragrant, spicy, they go well with meat and fish dishes.
Free the peppers from the stalks and seeds, cut into large rectangles. Fry.
Mix the vinegar with sugar and salt, pour it into the pan. Simmer the peppers for about 15 minutes, the vinegar should evaporate. Check pepper in the sweet and sour sauce for salt, add oregano.
Now pepper in the sweet and sour sauce can be used as a side dish, or used as a snack, for example, with the addition of olives and anchovies.
Or add mozzarella cheese and a can of tuna, for me this dish serves as a light lunch on fasting days.
