Instructions

  1. Drain the pineapple rings, pour the cognac over them and leave to stand in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours.
  2. Beat the egg whites until stiff and puree the strawberries. Carefully fold the egg whites under the strawberry mixture. Maybe a little sweetener. Lightly brown the flaked almonds in butter. Pour the strawberry mixture into dessert bowls and place the pineapple rings on top. Drizzle with the liquid from the steeping. Garnish with the almond flakes and serve.
