Instructions

  1. Thaw the frozen puff pastry sheets. Peel and finely chop the onion and clove of garlic. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it. Cut the mozzarella into strips. Drain the tuna. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan and sauté the onions. Stir in the tomatoes and garlic. Season with salt, pepper and a little thyme and simmer over a low heat for about 10 minutes. Roll out the puff pastry sheets with a piece of corrugated wood, approx. 3 mm. Then cut the plates into the desired shape. I always make triangles, but there are no limits to the imagination. Place the dough pieces on the prepared baking sheet and brush with approx. 2-3 teaspoons of tomato sauce. Put some tuna on top and top with the Mozarella strips. Put the pizza bites in the oven on the middle rack and bake for about 20 minutes. The pizza bites also taste cold, so they are also suitable for a cold buffet. You can also freeze pizza bites.
