Instructions

  1. Put the flour in a bowl and mix well with the salt, herbs and paprika powder. Make a well in the middle and pour the olive oil into the well. Dissolve the yeast in the water and also pour it into the well. Knead everything well until you get a nice elastic dough.
  2. Cover the dough in a warm environment with a damp kitchen towel and let rise for approx. 45 - 60 minutes.
  3. While the dough is rising, prepare all the ingredients: the salami in slices, the paprika in thin strips, the onion in rings and the garlic in very thin slices.
  4. Roll out the dough on the baking sheet and brush with tomato sauce. Sprinkle a little dried oregano or other Italian herbs to taste, then top with salami, paprika strips and garlic. Finally, grate the cheese and spread it on the pizza. Alternatively, the cheese can also be rubbed onto the tomato sauce and then topped with the ingredients, but I prefer it the other way around.
  5. Bake at approx. 225 ° C top / bottom heat on the middle rack for about 25 - 30 minutes. Depending on how crispy you want the base to be, the time can be a little less or more. Just take a look and test it regularly.
  6. Depending on your taste, you can also spice up the dough with or without other herbs and / or other spices. You can also try different types of salami, for example. B. like a mixture of fennel and hotter chorizo salami.
  7. By the way, it can also be prepared excellently on a pizza stone on the grill.
