Instructions

  1. Leave the diced bacon in olive oil, add the onions and sauté, also add the carrots and sauté briefly.
  2. Briefly stir the tomato paste in the saucepan so that it caramelizes a little, then deglaze the whole thing with the pizza tomatoes and dilute a little with the broth so that the sauce is thick, season with the spices and let the sauce simmer gently for at least 1 hour. At the end, puree the sauce with the hand blender.
  3. Pour the sauce into glasses while hot, turn it upside down for 5 minutes and store in the refrigerator after cooling or pour 3 tablespoons of the sauce (enough for 1 pizza Ø 30 cm) into small freezer jars (makes about 10 jars) and freeze.
