Instructions

  1. Mix the flour and yeast, gradually stir in 300 ml of lukewarm water, 1 teaspoon of salt and 6 tablespoons of oil. Knead the dough until it no longer sticks. It should be soft but malleable. Dust with flour, cover and let rise for about 30 minutes.
  2. Finely dice the onion, sauté in 2 tablespoons of oil, add the tomatoes, simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Stir in the basil and season the tomato sauce with salt and pepper. Cut 200 g salami into thin strips.
  3. Oil 3 round pizza trays (30 cm diameter). Divide the dough into thirds, roll out each to the size of the baking tray and place on the pizza tray. Spread the tomato sauce on top. Place the salami strips on top and sprinkle the cheese on top. Let go again.
  4. Bake the pizza in the hot oven at 225 degrees on the middle rack. Instead of the 3 trays, you can also use a large baking tray.
