Instructions

  1. Put the flour and sugar in a bowl. Make a well in the middle with a spoon and add the egg. Mix together with some of the sugar, add a pinch of salt and put the butter cubes on top. Knead into a smooth shortcrust pastry with your hands or the dough hook of the mixer. Wrap in foil and put in the fridge for half an hour.
  2. Roll out the dough on a greased baking sheet (approx. 30 x 40 cm) and prick several times with a fork. Pre-bake in a preheated oven (200 ° degrees) for ten to twelve minutes.
  3. Wash the plums, cut in half, core and quarter, but do not cut all the way through. Cover the ground tightly with it. Dust with cinnamon to taste.
  4. Put the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar and the softened butter in a bowl (if you like, you can mix the cinnamon with the crumble). Knead into crumbles between your fingers. Spread over the plums. Bake the cake at 180 degrees for another 30 to 40 minutes.
