Instructions

  1. Place 250 g flour on a work surface, make a well in the middle and add 1 egg. Spread 75 g sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, baking powder and 125 g butter in flakes on the edge of the flour. Knead everything into a smooth dough. Chill the dough for 30 minutes.
  2. Wash, halve and stone the plums.
  3. Roll out the dough into a circle (approx. 30 cm) on a floured work surface. Place in a greased springform pan (26 cm), pull the dough up so that an edge is approx. 2 cm high. Spread the plums on the dough.
  4. Bring the cream and 225 ml milk with the remaining butter and sugar to the boil. Mix 3 eggs with 20 g flour, custard powder and 25 ml milk. Pour the hot milk into the mixed egg mixture and stir everything together.
  5. Pour the pudding and cream on the plums and bake the cake in the preheated oven at 175 ° C (gas mark 2) for 45-55 minutes.
