Instructions

  1. Wash and core 2 kg of plums and puree completely in the food processor. Boil 2: 1 together with 1 kg of preserving sugar in a large saucepan. Add the slivovitz and cinnamon if you like. Finally, a few strong squirts of lemon juice. Let the whole thing boil again briefly, pour into jars rinsed with hot water, put the twist-off lid on and let cool upside down. The amount is sufficient for 7 glasses of 435 ml each. Enjoy on warm butter toast.
