A simple dish of affordable fish. Place the pollock pieces on the onion “pillow”, top with the mayonnaise and mustard sauce, sprinkle with grated cheese, and place in the oven. An excellent result is obtained – a ruddy cheese crust, and inside there is a delicate, aromatic fish.
Peel, wash, and dry the onion. Cut the onion into quarters or half rings.
Wash the pollock fillet, cut into small portions, sprinkle them with lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
Combine mayonnaise with mustard and mix. Put all prepared onions on the bottom of a greased baking dish, lightly salt and pepper.
Put the fish on top of the onion. Brush the fish fillet with the prepared sauce. Grate the hard cheese on a fine grater and put it on top of the sauce.
Bake the fish in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes (be guided by your oven).
Pollock baked in mustard-mayonnaise sauce, with onions and cheese is ready. Transfer the appetizing fish to portioned plates and serve with, for example, rice or potatoes.
