Instructions

  1. First peel the cucumber and cut into large cubes. If you don`t like the kernels, you should remove them beforehand, preferably simply scraping them out with a spoon. Then cut the tomatoes into cubes and set aside for now.
  2. Now drain the fat in a saucepan, add the cucumber and let it sear well. Once you have removed the seeds, you may have to add a little vegetable stock to make enough sauce. After about 15 minutes, the tomatoes and tomato paste can also be put in. Season to taste with the spices and then simmer for about 15 - 30 minutes until the tomatoes disintegrate.
  3. We only serve boiled potatoes with it, but if you can`t do without meat: meatballs or crackers also taste very good with them.
