Instructions

  1. Mix the margarine with sugar, vanilla sugar, butter vanilla flavor and eggs well until foamy. Mix the flour with baking powder and pudding powder and sieve over the fat-sugar-egg mixture and stir in. Stir in lemon juice and rum as well.
  2. Grease a 2 liter form (wreath form or 2 loaf forms) well (!) And sprinkle with breadcrumbs (or line loaf forms with baking paper).
  3. Pour a little more than half of the batter into the pan. Stir the poppy seed baking into the rest of the batter and pour into the tin on the light batter. Now draw a spiral marble pattern through the dough with a fork.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 ° C (top / bottom heat) for approx. 40 minutes (loaf forms) to 60 minutes (wreath form), (make chopsticks test!). Take out of the oven, after approx. 5 - 10 minutes rest time, turn out of the mold, let cool down.
