Instructions

1. Mix the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and rum until foamy, add the eggs one by one. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir in. Then add the poppy seeds and finally the milk. Mix everything well and pour into a greased springform pan.
2. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 ° C (top / bottom heat) for approx. 60 - 70 minutes. If necessary, cover with aluminum foil halfway through the baking time, depending on the oven.
3. Mix the icing sugar with the rum and hot water until smooth, then coat the hot cake with it.
