Instructions

  1. Dissolve the yeast in 75 ml of lukewarm milk, add 1 tablespoon of sugar, stir. Dust with a little flour and let rise in the 50 ° C oven for 15 minutes. Knead the remaining dough ingredients with the yeast milk, let rise for another 45 minutes. Knead the crumble ingredients and chill.
  2. Bring the milk for the poppy seed filling to the boil. Mix the poppy seeds and pudding powder, stir into the milk with the rest of the ingredients except for the marzipan, bring to the boil once. Allow to swell for 10 minutes.
  3. Roll out the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, spread the poppy seed mixture on top. Pluck the marzipan into pieces and spread over them. Sprinkle with the crumble and bake in the oven preheated to 175 ° C for about 25 - 35 minutes. Brush with a topping of 100 g powdered sugar and 1 - 2 tablespoons water.
  4. Tip: The amount of streusel is very high because we like it very much. If you don`t like that many streusel, only use half of the ingredients.
