Instructions

  1. Beat the butter and powdered sugar until creamy. Add the egg and beat again briefly.
  2. Put the coffee in a bowl. Dip the biscuits one at a time and place them in a springform pan until the bottom is covered. Now spread a little buttercream thinly on the biscuits.
  3. Then continue with the other layers of biscuits in the same way until the biscuits and cream are used up. Cookies should then finish the last layer.
  4. Decorate the cake as you like and place in the fridge until ready to serve.
  5. The cake tastes particularly delicious when it is covered with caramel sauce at the end. You can also dust the cake with cocoa powder or powdered sugar.
  6. This cake is very popular as a dessert in Portugal. Of course, you can also serve the cake with your coffee. It is quick and easy to make and can be kept in the refrigerator for several days.
