Instructions

  1. Cook the potatoes and golden beets in pieces for approx. 30 minutes until soft and mash them with the potato masher. If the golden beet is bought pre-cooked, it usually cannot be mashed well, then simply cut into small pieces. Add salt, pepper and marjoram and mix well. Add enough breadcrumbs to shape the patties well. Then heat a pan with oil and fry the patties until golden brown on both sides.
  2. Optionally, you can also work feta cheese in the middle of each patty.
  3. It goes well with a herb and garlic dip and a mixed salad.
