Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes. Bring water to a boil in a large saucepan, add the potatoes to the boiling water and cook for 25 minutes, depending on their size.
  2. Cut the meat sausage into cubes of the same size as desired. Peel and chop the onions. Cut the Harz roll into small pieces so that it melts in the sauce afterwards.
  3. Rinse the potatoes and let them rest for a moment. As soon as the potatoes have cooled down, dice them. Heat 2 pans with 50 grams of lard each. Sear the diced potatoes in one pan and the diced sausage in the other pan. When the meat sausage has reached the desired degree of browning, add the onions and sauté briefly. Put the potatoes, sausage and onions in a large saucepan.
  4. Add the cream with the vegetable stock, the spices, the parsley and the Harz roll. Bring the pot contents to the boil briefly and add some water or spices if necessary. Once the Harz roll has melted, the meal can be served.
