Season the minced meat with salt and pepper. Add your favorite seasonings to the minced meat, if desired.
Finely chop the onion and fry it in vegetable oil for a few minutes.
Add minced meat to the onion. Fry the minced meat with onions for another 5-10 minutes.
Prepare other ingredients at this time. Cut the potatoes into medium-thick slices.
Cut the tomatoes in the same way as potatoes.
Grate hard cheese on a fine grater.
The sauce for the potato casserole is very simple – it’s sour cream with garlic squeezed through a press.
Now we collect all the ingredients in a heat-resistant form. We lay the first layer of the potato plate. Do not forget to add some salt to them. If you don’t add salt to the potatoes, the casserole will turn out bland and tasteless. We generously coat the potato layer with sour cream sauce.
Put tomato slices on the potatoes.
On top, evenly spread the fried and already cooled minced meat.
We fall asleep with grated cheese.
Repeat the layers a second time: potatoes, salt, sauce, tomatoes, some cheese, and minced meat. The last layer should be potatoes. Grease the top potato layer generously with sour cream sauce and sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese.
Put the form with potatoes, minced meat, and tomatoes in an oven well preheated to 180-200 degrees. Cook the potato casserole for 30-40 minutes. We focus on the readiness of the potato – it should be soft.
The casserole with potatoes, minced meat, and tomatoes are ready. This is a very satisfying, tasty, and, of course, a festive dish!
