Peel the potatoes and grate them finely. Mix with egg, breadcrumbs, parmesan, salt and pepper and press a little on one side of the fillet and place with the potato side down in the pan with oil. Fry them until they are nice and brown over medium heat, then add the potato mixture to the other side and turn over. Fry again.
Green beans wrapped in bacon or salad went well with it.
