Instructions

  1. Wash the 750 g potatoes and let them cook in the peel for about 30 minutes the day before use. Immediately put the peel through the press and refrigerate until the next day. Then pass them through a sieve.
  2. Grate the raw potatoes, squeeze them firmly in a cloth and add to the boiled potatoes. Knead in the egg, flour and salt and use floured hands to shape round dumplings about the size of a fist. Put this in boiling salted water and let it simmer over a medium heat for approx. 20 minutes.
