Peel and grate the potatoes and let them steep for about 20 minutes. Pour away the excess water.
Add the peeled and grated onion with the remaining ingredients to the potatoes and stir everything well.
Heat a pan and bake / fry the potato fritters. In order to portion the potato pancakes in a `normal size` (approx. 7-9cm), I use a small soup ladle for a potato pancake.
We always like to eat applesauce with the potato fritters. Good Appetite!
