Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the potatoes. Cook with salt, a little pepper, paprika powder and plenty of marjoram in a clear broth as required. After approx. 10 minutes add the carrots with the stock and cook everything until soft. Then pour the cooking water into an extra saucepan. Mash the potatoes and carrots. Always add a little of the cooking water until the desired consistency is achieved. Add more of the broth and plenty of marjoram. Add ketchup to taste.
  2. Now dice the hunting sausage and fry in a pan, then add it to the potato soup. Bring everything to the boil again and let it steep for about 1 hour. Finally, heat the wieners and warm them in them. Arrange and serve on plates.
