Wash the potatoes well and skewer lengthways on a wooden or metal skewer. Then cut into the potatoes in a spiral with a sharp knife. Make a cut down to the skewer. Then pull the potatoes apart until they look like a spiral.
Mix the parmesan with the spices and herbs and place on a flat plate. I like to use a flat plate because not so much goes wrong when sprinkling. However, another vessel can of course also be used.
Brush the potatoes generously with the melted butter and immediately sprinkle with the parmesan mixture. Make sure that some of the mixture sticks to the potatoes everywhere.
Place on a baking sheet and bake at 180 ° C for about 25 minutes. The baking time may vary depending on how thick the spirals are cut.
Most of the time, some of the parmesan is left over. I put it in the fridge and use it the next time I make a casserole or something similar.
